Hero Siege Uber Bosses Guide: Season 10's Three New Ubers and the Classic Roster
Every Uber boss explained: Season 10's three new Ubers, the Gabriel, Amun Ra and Luna fights, and the classic Damien, Reaper and Sung Lee trio.
What Uber Bosses Are
Uber bosses are Hero Siege’s superboss tier: encounters above and beyond the act bosses, unlocked in the endgame and tuned to check everything your build has — sustain, burst windows, movement, and your Incarnation Tree depth. They are also among the game’s best loot sources, which is why the community measures a season’s progress in Uber kills.
The Uber Roster
Season 10’s three new Ubers (Ebontharn). The season’s headline combat addition. JuxtAPoser’s launch-week video “3 New Uber Bosses” is the community’s primary first-look documentation, and endgame showcases (such as imortilize’s Inferno Uber Luna clear) demonstrate how the new tier interacts with reworked classes. Their mechanics lean on the game’s established Uber grammar — phases, burst windows, and punishing area denial — at a higher tune.
The Gabriel / Amun Ra / Luna tier. Introduced in the seasons around S5’s Amun Ra addition, these fights are the “modern classic” Ubers: multi-phase encounters with distinct mechanics each. Amaggixz’s Bard showcase running all three at H5 difficulty remains a good visual reference for their flow.
The classic trio: Damien, Reaper, Sung Lee. The original Uber lineup from earlier seasons, still in the game as the entry point into Uber-tier content. Benderdin’s dedicated guide video covers their patterns, and they remain the recommended first Uber kills of any season — including your first character’s.
Preparation: What Every Uber Attempt Needs
- A complete build, not a leveling build. Uber checks assume your league starter has already converted into its endgame form — core uniques in place, talents finished, tree spine claimed.
- Sustain above your pride. Nearly every Uber death trace shows the same thing: damage output was fine, survivability wasn’t. Defensive talent and Incarnation nodes are not optional at this tier.
- Consumables and retries budgeted. Ubers are attempt-learning fights. Expect to die learning phase patterns; the community’s advice is to bring enough supplies to lose informatively several times.
- Difficulty honesty. Uber content lives at Inferno. If the current difficulty’s act bosses are pushing you, wormhole depth — not Uber attempts — is your next progression step.

Fight Fundamentals: the Shared Grammar
Across the roster, Uber fights reward the same four skills:
- Burst windows. Every Uber has vulnerable windows — usually after a phase transition or a whiffed big attack. Damaging output outside these windows is often wasted; learning when they occur matters more than raw DPS.
- Area denial respect. Ground effects and zone attacks in Uber fights punish greed. Leave the red early; re-enter when it clears.
- Add triage. Most Ubers spawn minions mid-fight. Killing adds too slowly loses the fight; ignoring adds entirely also loses the fight — learn which adds are urgent for your class.
- Phase memory. Ubers are pattern tests. The community’s clearing videos are worth watching specifically for phase order, even if you never copy anyone’s build.
Which Uber Should You Kill First?
The community’s standard advice: the classic trio first, the new three when your build is proven. The older fights teach the Uber grammar with older, better-documented patterns; the Season 10 Ubers are the exam. Once your first Uber kill funds a real upgrade — or drops something from the unique pool worth selling on the market — the whole endgame loop accelerates.
FAQ
How many Uber bosses are in Hero Siege now? With Season 10’s three additions, the Uber roster spans the classic trio, the Gabriel/Amun Ra/Luna tier, and the new Ebontharn encounters — roughly a dozen top-end fights depending on how seasonal variants are counted.
Can you solo Uber bosses? Yes — solo Uber kills are the community’s standard showcase format. Co-op works too, with scaled encounter difficulty.
Do Uber kills drop guaranteed uniques? Uber fights are top-tier loot sources, but drop specifics vary by fight, difficulty, and patch. Verify current reward tables in-game before farming a specific Uber for a specific item.
My build clears wormholes but dies to Ubers. Why? Wormholes test sustained clearing; Ubers test burst windows and phase execution. They are different exams — see the preparation list above for the usual gaps.
